Janice K. Barden

, founder and Chairman of Aviation Personnel International, has been a contributing member of the aviation community for over 30 years.

Under her leadership, the company has enjoyed success as the acknowledged leader in the industry. Her professional and technical expertise has contributed immeasurably to hundreds of outstanding flight operations, setting the standard for the industry in quality and performance. She has helped hundreds of aviation professionals recognize and realize their career potential over the past three decades.

An industrial psychologist, Janice is responsible for the development of the company's Psychological Testing Program. This very successful battery has been refined over the years and has evolved into API's present battery based on 17 factors, which Barden calls the company's PEQTM—"Professional Evaluation Quotient." The uniqueness of this program is that it is based strictly on aviation norms, not on a balance of the general population.

Sheryl Barden

is President of Aviation Personnel International. She has extensive background in strategic team building, encompassing search, screening, employee and team development and coaching. She holds a B.S. in Management with an emphasis in Personnel Management from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the McLaren School of Business at the University of San Francisco. She is a certified KolbeTM Consultant.

Colleen Kelly

Colleen P. Kelly

spearheads our API Candidate Services program. As Director of Candidate Services, Colleen works with our candidates to support them through the Registered Professional program. Her candidate knowledge makes her an integral part of our project fulfillment team, matching individual candidate talents and skills to our clients needs.

Colleen has an extensive managerial and business background and most recently worked for Levi Strauss and Company. She holds a degree in marketing and consumer behavior from The University of Arizona. Chris Sherwood

is part of our recruitment and project fulfillment team. In addition, she spearheads our work in support of aviation services organizations. Chris brings a tremendous depth of experience in Part 135/91 flight operations through her role as a corporate flight attendant. Prior to her flying career, she managed a national recruitment office that specialized in Business Aviation and IT fulfillment. Her in-depth knowledge of the industry is a key factor in API's development of broader services and support to charter/management companies, fractional providers and aviation service organizations.
