Client Services Manager

Jenny Showalter brings more than two decades of aviation experience to API, a time during which she has achieved wide industry recognition for her exceptional customer service expertise.

As Client Services Manager, Jenny assists Jennifer Pickerel and Sheryl Barden with API’s aviation recruitment projects. She handles everything from the intake of a new search project, to candidate identification and selection, to the offer and placement of a hired candidate within a Part 91 or 135 flight department.

Jenny is also instrumental in the ongoing development, delivery and maintenance of API’s Outplacement program. In this capacity, she works directly with aviation leaders — and their corporate HR departments — to help outgoing team members prepare for their next career move.

Prior to joining API, Jenny served as the Executive Director for the Florida Aviation Business Association (FABA), and was also a member of its board of directors. For 18 years previously, Jenny served as Customer Service Manager / Director of First Impressions for Showalter Flying Service, her family’s third-generation fixed-base operation. Responsible for many business areas, including service, sales and marketing, she assisted with the various needs and requests of flight departments, flight crews and passengers visiting the Orlando area.

Jenny is a founding member and board secretary of the Central Florida Business Aviation Association (CFBAA), and member of the Florida Aviation Business Association (FABA) as well as its board. She is also a member of the National Business Aviation Association, where she serves on NBAA’s Local and Regional Groups Committee. As a former decade-long member of the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee, she served as the S&D committee’s Chairwoman from 2007-2008.

A graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Jenny Showalter earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish.
