Janice K.  Barden, founder of Aviation Personnel International (API), a San Francisco-based aviation recruiting firm specializing in business aviation, an industry in which she was a major figure, died July 31. Sheryl Barden, CEO and president of API, said her mother “Never stopped talking about this wonderful industry and the pride she had in it, literally until the day she died.” Since its founding in 1971, API has placed thousands of professionals. Read the full article on AviationWeek.com.
